| 1.4 Million Students Took the ACT in 2008 |
| Last year, 1,421,941, or nearly half the graduating seniors, took the ACT. This is according to ACT Inc, the makers of the ACT test. This is an increase of 120,000 students in a single year. In fact, the ACT has increased the number of students taking the test in nine out of the last ten years. Why is this Important? While the SAT certainly has more name recognition than the ACT, the ACT is the more popular test in 24 out of 50 states, and is a requirement for admission at many schools. In fact, most schools will accept either the SAT or the ACT. What does this mean for me? As a student, you have the option of taking either the SAT or the ACT. This is good for you, but with more and more students taking the ACT each year, it is becoming harder to stand out. This can be an obstacle for some students, but with Preazy Prep's quality test preparation you can turn this into an advantage with a score that will open many doors for you. |
